Soliloquy of a lifetime

I don't feel honoured when you get lost in my dreams

These wet roses, if I crash them they die

But their perfume lives forever in these hands of mine

You have shown yourself as a ghost because you think I will crush you in your real form.

You paid me to love you

You promised me dust to dust and ashes to ashes as my reward,

That's double fold

You claim I step your boundaries in loving you

You go crazy when you dry your clothes and I pray for rainfall

You never bother to ask me about my intentions

You throw those shoes away because the demons tighten them around your little feet

Your soul has been demonised

You said you are sorry

That you aren't ready for any conversations

But you kept on with the soliloquy

Speaking out loud, slept naked on the thorns and the bruises clothed your body.

You are always in the mood to be alone

Why then did you pay me to be your lover?

Why?

Ready to welcome the sun meanwhile your heart is a forest on fire.

Ready to rule a kingdom meanwhile you live in a graveyard.

And when I pray for rainfall,

You ask, why do I seek to wet your clothes

When I pray for a kingdom you ask questions that can only be answered by you

You are trying to fly on a left wing

How about I loan you a right wing with no conditions attached.
