Spoiled

I want to live under thunder and rain

To appreciate every sunny day.

I want to freeze from head to toe

To fully love a cotton coat.

I want to run till I can't breathe

To finally desire a full night's sleep.

I want to be stuck in shackles and chains

Maybe then I'll dance the night away.

I want to smoke until my lungs are char

To appreciate that breathing isn't so hard.

I want to scream and yell and fight

To fully love a peaceful night.

I want to starve to my skin and bones

To finally desire cake and scones.

I want to go blind and lose my sight

Maybe then I'll hold your hand so tight.
