Why do I care so deeply for you?
All you've ever brought me
Is heartbreak and pain
I've waited night after night
For you to come home
To hold me, kiss me
Tell me I'm the one
Only to smell someone else's
Perfume on your clothes and
In your sweat
I've sworn more times than
I care to count
That I am done
Only to have you
Pull me towards you
Showering me with kisses
And caresses
And my body melting into
The promise of yours
What is love
That makes us so blind
To ourselves
