From Nothing

The Key To This Poem:

--Letters and words ~ matter

--The space between ~ mind

--All else ~ vibration

"From Nothing"

From source unknown

From place unfound

From light unseen by eyes,

From sight unshown

From time unbound

From ever reaching skies,

From songs unsung

With every sound

With life the priceless prize,

We are grown

From seeds unsown

From nothing we arise Jai

Material vs. Mental,

Descartes emphasized, mind and matter, distinctly different,

Contrasted physical and non physical,

So too, esoteric mystics made distinctions,

Maxim "mind over matter" further points to an order to these two conditions,

Namely, mind precedes matter, matter arises out of mind,

Overly defined and identified with the physical,

My argument is simple, ALL IS MIND,

The universe is mental in nature,

All physical is manifested from mental,

Vibration is the bridge, that which materializes,

Sound being the active force of creating thru vibration, all material states.

I find poetry more evocative of meaning,

Leniently allow my poetic bridge building attempt to reach an open mind,

And touch much deeper realms of knowing,

I would be so glad.
