It calls to my soul

My lost wandering spirit.

The angst and uncertainty

There's nothing much to it.

The sound of the voice

that lingers in my brain,

The words that help to remove all my pain.

A comfort to know that I'm not all alone,

There may be others out there

I won't be on my own.

The indeterminate anonymity

of the protagonist and her plight -it soothes me, lulling me to sleep in the night.
