Sadness

Does anyone really know the meaning of sadness?

The hurt of the heart?

Of the dearly depart?

Does anyone really know the meaning of longing?

The desperate plea?

That brought you to the knee?

Does anyone really know the meaning of loneliness?

The anger inside,

Yet the sadness deride?

There are things that make us feel this way, and sometimes

You just need a way of getting it out.
