From The Rooftop

I wanna scream,

 "I love you"

   from the top of my lungs,

   but I'm afraid

   someone else will hear me.

I wanna shout about how

  you complete me,

  you fulfill me,

  you satisfy me.

I wanna yell that

  I'll be yours forever,

  for infinity,

  for beyond infinity.

I want to take a megaphone

   and let the world know.

But no. These are things to be whispered

  in the night.

Lovingly in your ear.

As you enter my temple

  and define your love.

I wanna scream I love you,

   but some things are too precious.

   Such is my love for you.
