Hot peppers

Chowing down

Until I bleed

I choke down more feeling

Although my throat

Is peeling like my bedroom ceiling

I hadn't felt the need

To wash my body

Or eat last night

Put up a fight

Because I'm feelin low

I'll say

"It's just another day in paradise"

Another cost of living

"When it rains, put on a coat"

Feel the warmth of false hope

At least it'll keep the rain out

That's exactly as it seems

To have such childish dreams

And I'll walk on down the hall
