Hear my prayer

Oh lord above, hear my prayer. 

I know you're far away, but there is a person down here.

I need your help. My friend is sick. My grades are bad.

I just need some comfort, the world seems so sad.

Maybe I'm just a little kid.

I really don't understand what it means to live.

I'm far too small to talk to god.

I'm far too small to talk at all. 

Oh lord above, hear my prayer.

I know I've moved away, but they say you're always here,

I need your help, the world is dark, the night has gone mad. 

Gone is the beautiful things this life once had.

I'm just struggling to live.

I wish I could go back to being a little kid. 

I'm far too smart to talk to god. 

I'm far too smart, but still I call.
