Into our lives, little rain falls

’tween best laid plans and toppled walls.

Lightning flashes a haunting pall.

Fire threatens, a dream soon stalls.

A sudden storm, and devastated.

A wanderer’s path’s been re-directed.

But time continues, a mysterious weft.

Your dawn arises, but with nothing left.

Warm breeze blows with something to say.

Message on a breath, direction yesterday.

Stronger now, more sure and steady.

Tempest-tested, a weathervane ready.

Gentle answer undoes resistance.

A whispered word of Divine insistence.

Unfettered mind, an ear that hearkens.

Swift new wind, and new path beckons.
