Can’t cover up

Lies are the makeup of our personality. Some use it because they believe they have to. Others use it because they want to. I don't understand why people would want to, or believe, that they have to cover up who they are. We use makeup to conceal our faces, even though we are always told as children to not judge a book by it's cover. Yet, we lie to conceal who we really are, but that doesn't permanently change anything, just like makeup doesn't permanently change our physical appearance. Our personalities don't change when we try to alter them, they change from others impact on our lives. Just like how someone's actions or presence can affect us physically, by making us smile or by making us laugh, and we can't cover that up. Be who you are or else how will you become the person you're supposed to be?
