Loathing Minutes

My coffee starts to drip and sizzle

at 12:13,

First sip: 12:25,

The beans of my drink are like batteries

in my watch which reads 12:27

If this snow keeps falling the walk will freeze me to death,

“12:30, class in 5 minutes”

I was late to class

and learned

there were only 3 minutes left to live.
