Cinnamon

I've drank coffee only once

And the memory's a blush,

Because my bio teacher made me some

When I was in a rush.

Yeah, he was kinda cute, but,

like, well-- He was 33!

I've never liked the cinnamon taste

More than when it came from he!

I drank it during study hall

When he stopped by to chat

And I wrote a whole art essay

In just the drop of a hat!

I don't know if it was coffee

Or the energy I'd found

Because while he was laughing with me

There was energy abound.
