Bottomless Pit - [a lapse in time]

Exhausted rope giving way to gravity,

hat man heaves backwards,

this foot digs sand with heal, both then scrape gravel, so then-

.

Buckshot.

roll over,

look upward.

.

see half-face,

his moon hat,

and the sky fills.

.

Grip gravel.

.

fall.

.

.

.

.

.

.

upward snap, back snap, lapse in time-

Pendulum sways lateral.

Fading.

Swinging regression of a foreign object into its own angular momentum.

Foreign object:

A fleshy mesh of sinew, bone, and tissue

snapping the twine binding him together-

them together.

Leather lapse, and now they're pulled to oblivion-

Again.

Broke like his predecessor through a glass casing of the pit,

they self actualized before their decline-

Rope, and him thought:

"Time has tethered."

But the two halves divided now-

him and rope.

He whispers then:

"I have removed self from flesh-"

Now him,

suspended by his spinal near basis of cord,

strung up,

Tendons,

 hanging by his thread-

looks upwards at intact other half.

Time had relapsed again-

.

.

.

Flesh breaks along the centre-fold of spine-

Self-string snaps:

Trajectory aligned with the bottomless pit.
