With sins so deep
His soul
turned black
His ashen wings
Disintegrated
Leaving him grounded
Unable to find his way back
Home
Alone
Desperate
On filthy streets
Pavement becomes his bed
The bottle
His warmth
This is his cross
His crown of thorns
To die
For his transgressions
No hope
No forgiveness
Just pain
And fury
