I still see me

Because I look in the mirror and see between the lines

Between the wrinkles forming when I smile

Between the circles under my bright eyes

Between the chapped lips once kissed

Between the faded marks of scars

Between the mask I hide behind

Between myself then and now

Because I am still me somehow

I still see me 

I am different but still the same
